In Rivendell, Elrond comes to his daughter Arwen and implores her to leave on the ships departing Middle-Earth, escaping the troubles of these lands. Theoden, Legolas, Gimli and the others believe him dead and journey on to Helm's Deep. During the battle, Aragorn tangles with a Warg and is thrown off a cliff into a fast-flowing river below.
